Welcome to my website.

I’ve been passionate(ish!) about photography most of my life. I remember enjoying taking photos when I was a kid, although this was interrupted when I dropped my camera in the river Loire in France!

I got my first Canon DSLR in about 2004, followed a few years later with a Canon 7D. My 7D has lasted me 15+ years, it is still my main landscape camera. I built up a collection of a few lenses and have been loath to upgrade until I see an ideal replacement - the Canon R6II has tempted me, but…

Our son was born in 2017 and I found it increasingly difficult to devote time to photography, or more precisely to editing the photos!

In 2024, my wife gifted me a Fujifilm X100VI for our tenth wedding anniversary and this is reignited my desire to get out, take photos and do something with them.

So, I will upload photos to this website, mainly as Blogs, with the best photos ultimately going in portfolios. The website will be a mix of landscape, travel and urban/street photography.
